I've decided I'm going to like this game much more if Woody Harrelson ends up in every one.

No, I accidentally responded to AB but realized he wasn't talking to me so I edited it. Not offended at all.

Group A is players who recorded the final putout of a perfect game. (That's at home, or on the road, or in a coat, or with a goat, etc.)

Does Group B have something to do with the winning hit in a World Series?

Now for the follow-up:

There are four players (that I'm aware of, at least) who have recorded the final putout of a perfect game AND a World Series. Who are they?

1. Yogi Berra (Larsen, 1949 and maybe more)
2. Marquis Grissom (Martinez, 1995)
3.
4.* Scott Brosius (Cone, 2001)

Larsen's perfect game wasn't a series clincher, but Yogi obviously correct. 1949 and probably others.

Marquis Grissom? Can't remember if he made the last putout in Martinez's perfect game.

Ruiz is definitely right unless he got subbed out of one of the games w/ Halladay's perfecto and Lidge striking out someone (presumably a batter) to end the 2008 series.

Grissom is correct. Martinez perfect game and 1995 WS.

Brosius is the asterisk. Made the final putout of Cone's perfect game and the 2001 WS.

The lat out of Halladay's perfect game was a groundout.

The last out of the perfect game was a grounder to third.
