I thought it was a little short-sighted for the Chiefs to keep Mahomes in when Henne drove them 96 yards for a TD. Not saying it was a slam dunk decision, but just because Mahomes was freaking out isn't a reason to risk fucking up the ankle even more.

I don't really give a shit one way or the other (neutral observer) but I'm wondering how much leeway they give him today. If he's limping around and throwing off one foot a lot... Not a great idea.

A 2nd degree ankle sprain was basically the thing that turned me from a 20-something who could run and jump into an over the hill 30-something. Thing's still swollen to this day (tho I never got a surgery on it so perhaps that has a lot to do with that). I could barely even walk for like a week.

Except Jalen Hurts isn’t nearly the downfield passer as Mahomes or Burrow. I know that few are, but I just can’t see how that offense keeps up with either of them.

Throwing downfield has been the one thing Jalen Hurts has done exceptionally well as a thrower and they were the 3rd highest scoring team in the NFL this year. Meanwhile the next time the Burrow Bengals score 30 points in a playoff game will be the first. Shit, they arguably should have lost to Tyler Huntley. Their defense has been under the radar really good, I'll give you that.

I'm not saying that the QB advantage doesn't matter or that Hurts is on the same planet as those guys, just that the Eagles (and 49ers for that matter) are absolutely stacked. Bengals have a pretty good roster too but it's not like Philly's.

Remember that KC is right in the middle of the plains. Arctic cold can go straight from the north, through the prairie provinces in Canada, and sweep right down the middle of the country as there aren’t any mountains or hills to shield it. That’s why it can get cold all the way to Dallas depending on the system (think of the Leon Lett game against Miami on Thanksgiving).

I can see that - I'd bet the large amount of land above it rather than lakes etc to the east make it look further south than it is. It's less than 100 miles south of Pittsburgh.
