That's what I said, but I think she just had a kid.

Overall weird halftime show. The ending was good, but the backup dancers and their weird gyrations reminded me of the episode of South Park with the non denominational Christmas play.

What?!?! I’m clueless and I knew almost every single song they played.

I thought she looked pregnant. My daughter has a friend over, they ran in asking if she is pregnant. And was that supposed to be Squid Games themed show?

Am I nuts or did he pin that ball against his helmet and maintain possession all the way through?

Defensive holding was bullshit, but I have the 8/5 square so, ok.

Excellent heads up play to not score on this drive.

That call just ruined a great game. Chiefs did such a great job adjusting and figuring out how to beat the Eagles defense, but that call was just ridicuous.

Congrats Bronto. That’s three straight Ls for me in the finals. So I guess that means the 76ers and/or Arsenal are going to come up just short AGAIN.

1. thank you

2. the call was right? it wasn't egregious ... but it was across the line, even if it was just slight. the main hold came before the top of the break.

also no. 2: the field at that stadium is miserable. both Butker and McDuffie got hurt in Week 1 because they slipped on the field and it was horrible for the TCU-Michigan game. Whatever they did to try to make it better for the Super Bowl didn't work and the NFL is lucky that no one got seriously hurt from slipping on that field

The idea that officials should swallow their whistles in the last two minutes of a football game (or last five minutes of a hockey game) or whatever is such obvious bullshit. A ball is a ball on the first pitch of the game or 3-2 with the bases loaded. Fuck that shit.

I agree with that, but what if they were swallowing the whistle on those types of plays in the secondary throughout the game? For the last two Super Bowls, it seemed a ref decided to start using his whistle at the end of the game.

It's a shame the game ended on that kind of call, especially with which one threw the flag, but it's really not why the Eagles lost. The Chiefs made the halftime adjustments and the Eagles didn't. For a team that had 78 sacks (including postseason) to never get even come close to getting Mahomes on the ground is just mind boggling. And I don't think I've ever seen two touchdowns scored on such wide open receivers.

I absolutely agree they should be consistent so that’s a fair point. I don’t think the call in question was ticky-tack relative to the rest of the game.

Whatever Reid did to figure out how to get those receivers open in the red zone was brilliant. As for the Eagles pass rush, the KC running game helped a lot and it was more of Reid's good playcalls. Wonder if the bad turf was a factor for pass rushers too.
