This does not compute. Note highlighted words.
You clearly never spent much time with this broad. Nightmare for so many reasons. My roommate, who was the absolute worst about keeping horrible girls around for sex, couldn't understand.

Now that I think about it, I actually did end it with her after about 6 weeks, then she pulled the "I'm pregnant" crap. Only she wasn't pulling anything. Every time I tried to get rid of her after that, guilt kept me from making the power move to sever ties, as she REALLY couldn't take a fucking hint. she was ultra-Catholic and insanely pro-choice. Throw in the fact that when her mother was pregnant with her, the doctors tried hard to convince her mother to abort due to some sort of issues with the pregnancy. Her Mother prayed to St. Rita, Patron of the Impossible, and a miracle happened! She was even named after said saint. You would not believe the feats of persuasion I had to pull off to change her mind. I always said I was pro-choice but anti-abortion. I said I would never choose abortion over taking responsibility (not that the man really has much say), but fuck if I was going to tie myself to this girl for the rest of my life, as I could never abandon a child I knew was mine.

Anywho, I couldn't shake this broad for a year. She got engaged in a weird religious thing, where her mother met the guy in church, and G-d told her this was the chosen one for her miracle baby, and she ate it up. I was privy to details about why sex was bad with this virgin with an enormous misshapen cock, and she came to me to make up for the bad sex. I felt a little guilty, but only when he was deployed in Afghanistan. Felt wrong to bang an Army fiance while he was deployed, especially since it was 2002, when patriotism still blinded the masses.

When I started dating my wife, she tried to insert herself and constantly demanded to meet my wife to give her approval. I finally caved when her fiance was in town, and my wife actually broke up with me that night, as she sensed something weird. I had to divulge and that made it make sense. I skipped their wedding and told her I wasn't inviting her to mine, and she still didn't catch on. I had a years worth of unreturned calls and emails before she gave up.

Moral of the story to you single guys, don't hang around for the sex, because sometimes it sure as fuck isn't worth it. I know you won't listen, because I surely didn't. she was the least attractive girl I ever dated, too. But like I said... and she had a crazy amount of lingerie and wasn't afraid to use it.

I never talk to my neighbors behind me. My neighbors behind me have a hot daughter near my age who moved out last year. I forgot about that hot daughter.

Fast forward to tonight, when the doorbell rings as I'm drinking a beer and watching baseball. It's my neighbor from behind me asking me if I'll be available to help carry a few things as her daughter is moving back home next weekend. Why sure I am...

Turkey vultures essentially are immune to botulism. They can consume enough botulism that would kill the average human and it has no impact on their systems. They also have extremely acute noses and can smell carrion from 20 miles away.

great advice Syb. Don't keep a girl for sex or for the societal pressures of marriage.

You all remembered I broke a long relationship due to money. As much as I whine about meeting girls now and my struggles with dating it's still much more fun than the miserable life of dealing with insane in-laws and tens of thousands of dollars in debt as money is thrown into a black hole.

I went to college in St. Louis and had the pizza there, but didn't realize that was "St. Louis pizza" until last week. I don't know what Brian's complaining about - it's good stuff! Basiclally, it's just thin-crust pizza cut into square slices instead of triangles. The crust is often kinda crunchy. You can eat a ton of the stuff.

Especially when it comes in a 5-pound hunk shaped like a giant stick of butter. I'm waiting for Fritz to weigh in.

ETA: I love the wiki line St. Louis "cuisine" while explaining the cheddar/swiss/provolone mix. Cheddar and Swiss on pizza sounds nasty, and the provolone doesn't help. Those 3 cheeses just don't seem to go together.

Hmm, I don't recall noticing any special cheese on the pizza. Granted that was 20+ years ago and I was probably drunk a lot of the times I ate it.

Ketchup and mayonnaise-flavored Lay's exist and they sell them in Spain. I saw them advertised on the sideboards of the Barcelona-Athletic game today

Didn't really know where to post this and didn't want it too public, so thought I would share here. My wife was 11 weeks pregnant and we found out yesterday at her ultrasound that it passed at the 7 week stage. We were so lucky that it happened this early and that her previous pregnancy was so uneventful, but it still hurts like a mutherfucker. I'm being strong for her because it just has to affect them differently, so I just wanted to vent here. She's having the procedure done this afternoon to remove the fetus as the other options sounded downright horrifying. Buzzkill Thursday!
