I’m not sure I liked beef but I’m really glad I watched it. Or maybe I’m not happy I watched it but I really liked it?
A little too mean sometimes. Last episode was worth it.
Agree though Steven Yuen and Ali Wong are national treasures and I’m on board for them getting a huge showcase like this.

Barry Season 4 is in a deep dark and strange place.
I stopped watching when the little monkey girl was running around like a crab demon. Honestly I forgot to start it back up.
Oh this season is strong. The experience has part classic Barry (Hank), but lots of different (Winkler and Barry stuff). I like it and see this building to a strong ending, but wonder if Hader went artistic because his stuff now can't be traditional (documentary now, skeleton twins).

100 Foot Wave is back. Got part way through last night. Once again beautiful camera work, but I don't like Garrett.
Saw that show up on the HBOMax feed last night when cranking up Succession. I'm fascinated with Nazare. I'll have to watch.
(It's really cool to watch the surfing with Indica in your system.)
Now you're speaking my language.
Watching now. McNamara reminds me of my former law partner.

That Ted Lasso can coach!
Another polarizing episode online but I really liked it.
I've only looked through the Reddit threads, but aside from the general complainers I found it overwhelmingly positive.
I liked/loved it. Each little sub-plot was great. (and I love Higgins' one-liners...though Will's admission at the end was fantastic!)
I liked it and glad the finally dealt a bit with the elephant in the room that Ted has been coaching soccer for three years and hasn’t somehow seemed to pick up almost literally anything about the game.
Yes, he didn’t invent Total Football but he has seemed completely disinterested in anything tactical until his “trip” but obviously some stuff has rubbed off on him.

I think he's always been a rah rah guy and left the tactics to Beard. His seemingly understanding the game is huge. I've always thought he was returning to Brontoland, but now, I don't know.

Watching the Brooke Shields doc on Hulu (it’s good!) but needed to post there’s a pic of her at Princeton dating…Ted McGinley!

So that would explain why her career came to a halt.
More likely it was losing her virginity to Dean Cain.
I thought it was Andre Agassi
No, she dated Cain at Princeton when he was the QB of the football team. She discusses it in the doc since the media made such of a big deal of her still being a virgin at 20.
We're only one episode into Ted Lasso season 3, having just week renewed Apple TV+ this week and my wife has decided she wants to "savor" the final season and not binge it (so we started watching multiple episodes of Shrinking a night instead), so I sort of read the top of this article through half-covered eyes in case it spoiled anything but it didn't and I enjoyed the thought experiment.
I didn't start watching until there were 3 episodes available, and a 4th came up the next day, so I was able to get through the problems most people were having with the show in those weeks. I think it's been fine, and last week's episode started to address from those early episodes.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.
Think DSafe and I were the only ones watching it but it looked like Snowfall was gonna stick the landing then it didn’t? I don’t know I haven’t decided. There were no winners in the drug war but the martyrs don’t win shit either.

I gave it up after the first season.

"You're Welcome" ... showed my wife this when I was trying to explain how, yes, the character is preposterous, but you have to understand the real-life guy they're basing it off.

I'm an idiot, as that's what I meant. Same thing talking to my wife. He really is that out there.
