Bringing me a much needed smile after a shit weekend. Thanks!
BFJ is the town wizard who runs a magic shop. He also has a golem that he has trained to attack anti-Semites.

Picking up from the first part of bengal's quest. We approach the goblin cave entrance to survey the situation, but bengal advises caution:
Image
Image

After searching the area, we come across a crudely patched side entrance. This should allow us to bypass the goblins' main defenses and catch the Chiefs in a disadvantageous position.

Now, here comes bengal's big revelation:

With bengal in his new form, we enter the cave. It's go time. There are a few goblins in the back chamber, but we've caught them by surprise and they are quickly handled.
Image

Now, on to the Goblin Chiefs. First, Chief Mahomzz goes down:
Image

Followed by Chief Kelzee:
Image

And finally Chief Riiid:
Image

With the chiefs dispatched, the goblins will disperse, leaving the road to Swampville clear. bengal gives us the gate password and some directions on what to do next.
Image

Back to the gate and Guard Captain Cerrano. See how the correct TWILTS answer now appears as an option after getting it from bengal.
Image

And with that, we're on our way into Swampville!

Next up, we'll be meeting some of the Swampville citizens and learning the game's overarching plot. Thanks for following, everyone.

I like how Bengal's avatar changed when he changed.

I think the only other Cincinnati starting QB that can be cleanly "verbed" is Dalton, which could be Bengal's finishing move if he decides to lose the sword when in tiger-mode.

Post by Johnny Carwash »

And we're back. So, the last updates covered the opening stages of the adventure, in which we helped bengal defeat the goblin threat and in doing so gained entry into Swampville. You may remember that at the end of the quest, bengal suggested we visit DSafetyGuy at the Town Hall, who could use our help.

We'll head to the town hall and meet DSafetyGuy, who is Swampville's Director of Public Safety.
Image

DSafe's purpose within the game is to serve as the main source of exposition and background information, and to guide you on the main questline. This will be mostly a dialog-based update, but will give you an idea of the game's main backstory and plot:

From here DSafe describes what will be the game's overarching main quest, with another wrinkle added:

So, the first order of business will be to get things straightened out with Shirley. The next update will feature the introduction to BFJ, which will hopefully have some entertaining parts if I can get the mechanics figured out.

Next up, we'll visit BFJ, Swampville's town wizard. BFJ can be found in this impressive structure in the corner of town:

Here we find BFJ studiously at work, surrounded by various magical accoutrements, with his golem hovering over his shoulder:

Hey everyone, thanks for continuing to follow. Really appreciate your interest and it's what motivates me to keep going.

I'm going to be on vacation the next couple weeks, so there likely won't be more updates until after that.

I have a playable version of the game module and instructions posted to DropBox. If anyone's interested in trying this out, let me know and I'll send you the link on PM.

I also have one more extra copy of Neverwinter Nights (the required base game) available if anyone wants to claim it.
