This team is so tired. So many games since the WC. So many injuries. A Europa League trophy would have been nice, but I don't have any expectations about this competition this year, and really just want CL qualification for next year, and maybe an FA Cup but even that would be icing on the cake. I found this surprising - I just read that in their opening playoff leg for promotion from League 1 to Championship, 6th place Peterborough beat 3rd place Sheffield Wednesday today, 4-0. Despite finishing 19 points behind them in the regular season.
