No, Smart cut into the paint to set a screen with Tatum popping out on the opposite side of the floor. Strus came off White to help deny the pass to Tatum, so Smart came toward the ball to help the inbound passer. Smart turned around and shot with White crashing the glass and Strus chasing since he went to help against Tatum.

This is just a poor performance in a game 7.

Maybe Tatum hurt his ankle more than he let on, but that's no excuse. So many missed shots. It's just frustrating to watch.

Two 8-seeds from the same city both advancing to the NHL and NBA Finals in the same season will never happen again. Hopefully they are both dispatched by teams from the Rockies.

So, I'm out here in Denver and had the glorious opportunity to grab carry out from Chili's. While I'm sitting in the bar, of course Game 1 is on. Bar isn't packed, but it's got a decent amount of folks, many in Nugs jerseys.

This place had, I dunno, a dozen TVs on... One on the Rockies game, and the NBA game is on ESPN. Cool cool cool.

The ESPN feed, for those that might not know, was doing the whole Steven Asshole Smith feed where he was trying to do the Manning-vision thing. It was on very loud. Because I'm a normal human, I fucking hate that guy and don't watch a millisecond of his shit in normal circumstances.

I scan the room and.. Like, no one seems to care? So, I ask a group of guys... "Fellas, you mind if I ask that we turn this to ABC?" The guys were so relieved. "Thank God, Hell Yes, Let's Go!"

So, we got the nice bartender lady to change all the channels.

It was like the fucking Twilight Zone in there for 10 minutes. These folks were really gonna sit and listen to that mf'er the entire game?

Got my SW eggrolls and ribs and rolled out... A hero.
