It's possible now that Horvath, or some other CONCACAF player, will get to travel from Luton to Cuba, or vice versa.

Re: EPL 2022/2023
An absolute screamer...that ball 999/1000 goes sailing into the crowd...
Re: EPL 2022/2023
He hit it cleanly. Not sure it was all that great. Had a sec to time it up so when you hit it that hard you just have to miss the keeper
Re: EPL 2022/2023
Frank Lampard coached teams have earned 10 points from their last 21 games combined.

My fault. Still had my light blue running shirt on. It's been remedied. Got my knock off 99 long sleeve kit on now.

It's essentially this without the Beckham name and number.

Must be kind of boring, winning every trophy in sight these days.

So signing Haaland was a good idea as it turns out…
Only people that saw this coming was everyone.

Re: EPL 2022/2023
Alexis MacAllister joins Liverpool from Brighton for £35M
Re: EPL 2022/2023
Kante is leaving Chelsea to go to Saudi Arabia for a pile of money (reportedly $100M/yr). Sad. Loved that guy. And he's the absolute last guy you'd expect to go chasing money, but then $100M is a lot of cheddar. He can probably buy a new Mini Cooper.
Totally Kafkaesque
Re: EPL 2022/2023
Probably upgrade to a Mini Cooper Estate.
Re: EPL 2022/2023
It always felt like this offseason was going to have some big change so its nice that Ilkay (and probably Bernardo, Mahrez(?), Laporte, etc) got their treble. I know you all feel the same.

I've never figured out his deal beyond he seems to always have the calls. I don't know if he's insider, aggregator, whatever.

I like that there's one relatively trusted source for transfer news, but dude really needs a alphabetic, color, or numeric code or something about rumors, leans, likelihood, confirmation, etc.

Perhaps, but if so, I definitely didn't get the memo. Wouldn't be the first time I failed to pay full attention.

Looks like Havertz to Arsenal is a done deal. Haven’t seen much of him, but my impression is that he was a major let down, so surprised the fee is over $80 million. Sounds like they want him replacing Xhaka. I thought he was more of an attacker than a CM.

Maybe the success of Foley’s hockey team makes him impatient with his new futbol team.

Really disgusting seeing the amount of money some of these teams spend. The Sybian wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 6:11 pm Looks like Havertz to Arsenal is a done deal. Re: EPL 2022/2023
Kinda torn on the Havertz loss for Chelsea. On one hand, he was far from excellent. But on the other, he was often quite good even though they often played him at striker, which he is not. He did score the winning goal in the UCL finals, so he'll always have a connection to Chelsea.
And of course, I never like seeing Chelsea greats such as Luiz, Willian, Jorginho go to Arsenal in their primes.

Far from excellent but often quite good describes my professional career.
