Now 5-1 with 2 goals coming past the 100 minute..the Peterborough goal being an OG and SW answering to keep it tied at 116 min as of writing.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

If true, this provides some context. Looks like the AZ players may have gone into the visiting players' friends and family section.

Article I read was that this may have been in response to similar treatment of AZ families by Irons supporters at the match in London last week.

Wild! They were down 4-0 going into the 2nd leg of the semis.

Here's the analysis of the game by the goal scorer. (Not sure I've read comments quite like this...)
A word from Josh Windass: “That was probably the worst standard of game you’ll ever watch,” he says in an interview with Sky Sports. “The standard from both teams was shocking, to be honest. There was no real quality on show but luckily we got the winning goal.”

Of course, Wednesday should’ve won. Poor Barnsley played most of the game with only 10 men.

Good year for fans in the city of Sheffield. United goes up to premiership. Wednesday goes up to championship.

This tournament is wild... wish I had more time to catch some of the games.

(I hadn't looked at the women's team roster... woof. I recognize maybe 2...3? of those names. Wrexham put a dozen on them yesterday.)

Based on Dortmund it looks like a combination or youth reserves and retired alumni (bald guy with the long dreds)

Also having watched this, I think a Futsal/MASL team could be the right skill set and tactics. That Newton team with a bunch of Baltimore Blast guys could be tough. I am enjoying the alumni teams. Some whose who of MLS draft years gone by.

The folks in Wrexham should start making statues for those two guys.

How lucky for them that of all the down at the heels small city clubs, their gaze fell upon Wrexham.

How do they still have macron as the kit manufacturer? A made up apple tv team gets a swoosh. How does UA, Umbro, or New Balance or such cut a deal. Would be huge for a brand trying to ramp up or come back from the dead (Le Coq).

They have been the provider for 8 years. Feels like a few $ could have resolved that.

But you can understand why they might be reluctant to let it go given the spotlight on that club. When it runs out they likely can't get back into the game vs. the big boys. Hell, I didn't know the name of it til you mentioned it, so it's working!
