I was going to watch it the other night because Kelli couldn't remember much of it. It's been a while since I've watched it from the beginning and I want to go back to see if that sandwich he makes after the party looks as delicious as I remember it looking.

Indirectly, he was responsible for Ross meeting Emily. Which led him to say Rachel’s name at the wedding.

He should have been at the wedding.

Ooh. He was a member of the 1984 Cubs, coming over in the trade with Rick Sutcliffe for Joe Carter and Mel Hall. He pitched in 6 postseason games, in which his teams went 1-5.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

I’m fairly certain I’ve responded or thought “I’d like to tame her shrew” any time I’ve heard that play referenced song 1986.

Me: So I don't know this song, why the controversy?

/Looks up the lyrics in French

Me: Oh, I think I see why.

/Looks up the lyrics with English translation

Me: yep, that's what I thought.

FYI, the word "reins" in this case does not mean "kidneys", although that would make the lyrics mean something else entirely.

The fact that he projected power, respect, and intimidation, all while being wheelchair-bound and never speaking, was a perfect marriage of writing and acting. RIP indeed.
