Newsome would wipe the floor with DeSantis. Newsome is legit smart as shit and can tackle topics on the fly incredibly well. If you haven't seen his interview with Hannity, check it out. He doesn't take shit and he can back up all of his points with multiple rejoinders.

DeSantis is scripted bullshit. He gets in trouble whenever he has to actually respond to a reasonable question about the bullshit that just shat out of his mouth.

DeSantis is tanking for a lot of reasons, but what I said above is really important. He's not a viable national candidate anymore. His stance on abortion alone is disqualifying.

We agree. If DeSantis was smarter, didn't go crazy fighting wokeness and didn't try to be both sides of everything, and didn't come out until he was actually ready in 2028, that would have been a interesting race. I mean abortion at 6 weeks? That alone buries him.

But he's stupid so yeah, Newsom wins easily.

This is obviously asking to be picked apart, but just visiting for a couple weeks is enough to convince me that if you can successfully run California, you should probably just automatically become President.

I’m a fan of my governor Newsom. But, I think I’ve learned that a lot of the rest of America seems to hate California, so I’m not sure he’s any slam dunk.

It's the 4th largest economy on the planet if you want to go by GDP. (Though, to be fair, Florida would be the 16th if it were a sovereign nation.)

I think ppl "hate" Hollywood, and those ppl are (mostly) knuckle-draggers. It's an incredibly diverse state and not just from ethnicity-lens. I don't know that a lot of Americans know how much of the state is rural and based on agriculture.

Well, it does have 10 million more people than the next biggest state.

I'll bet you that Texas has more registered Democrats than Massachusetts.

I can't seem to find a breakdown of registered voters by party in Texas, but if this website is to be believed the state has over 17 million registered voters. Massachusetts is listed there with like 1.5 million registered Democrats.

Trump got more votes in California than in Texas.

Biden got more votes in Texas than in New York.

Trump got more votes in New York than in 45 other states.

Plus DC. Trump got only 18600 votes in DC.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

So what you are saying is the election was rigged! How could Trump get that many votes in NY and lose to Sleepy Joe?

Without actually looking it up, dude is pretty heavy on the speaking circuit. And I'm pretty sure he has a number of, I don't know what to call it, but professorship type deals where he is just putting his name on a roster as an academic branding type arrangement.

I'm making that all up, but I bet if I looked it up I'm in the ballpark.

And books possibly though I’d bet most of the money is from speaking fees as you guessed. Most jobs, even consulting/visiting professor-type ones are gonna automatically withhold taxes I’d bet.

Right? How many Federal employees are there? And how many friends and family members do they have? Way to piss off millions of voters, douche.

There are close to 2 million federal employees. Let's just rough out that each employee has 5 family members (spouse, kids, siblings, parents).

That's a lot of fucking people.

As an outsider, it is very enjoyable to watch DeSantis keep sucking up to Trump, even though that asshole keeps insulting the hell out of him.

From Rubio to Cruz, to Christie to Pence to DeSantis... Stockholm Syndrome is everywhere in today's GOP.

It's just so pathetic how it took a garbage human like Dump to rile and excite the base so much that Republicunts have to debase themselves in pursuit of power in the event he dies.

That level of low information, small minded voter was always there because of losers like Rush Limbaugh enraging them daily.

All of the GOP politicians were still trying to cling to being respectable on TV despite having the same ideals, but with zero charisma, Jeb, Marco, Willard Mittens, and all of the others failed miserably.

It took Dump being a human YouTube comment to get it through.
