With two defenders who didn't get any minutes, you should get Salah automatically subbed in.

Anyone with a better idea than me to figure out if someone is likely to play? I don't know any of these mid to lower tier teams well enough (nor some of the bigs ones, for that matter) and I have no clue about depth charts. I see there's an infographic that tells likelihood of playing, but I think it's hard to round out a team because it only shows me 10 players or so at a time.

I'm not looking for tips other than how to find players that are likely to play. More of a gameplay mechanics thing than any kind of fantasy help.

Not really other than anyone on Twitter with FPL in their name. Lots of the people who do paid advice also give out some free advice re: starters. Also, for as great as City are, Pep is a roster rotation freak.

Another Friday game this week. Deadline should be 1:30 EDT tomorrow. Also, in the early weeks of the season, especially week one, the system has a history of crashing before that 1:30 deadline. Usually if there's some big roster announcement about a sub or injury.

You get one free transfer each game week. You can carry it over to the next week, but you can't carry over more than one (i.e. you can't ever have three free transfers).

EXCEPT, if you use one of your Wildcards. You get one wildcard in each half of the season. One to use before game week 20 starts, and one to use after. A wildcard allows you to make as many transfers as you want with no penalty.

You also cannot carry over your wildcard (i.e. can't use one in game week 22, and the other in game week 30).

You also get one Free Hit per season. That's for one game week, and then your roster reverts back to whatever you had the week before. So, you have a roster for game week 17, use a free hit and substitute as many players as you want for game week 18 with no penalty, then your roster for game week 19 reverts back to whomever you had in game week 17.

Any week now I'll be done getting rid of players who never play. Or transferred on loan. Any day now. Then you're all in trouble. Also just figured out you don't have to run a 4-4-2.

having trouble with transfers...

On the Transfers tab - i want to drop 2 midfielders so i've selected each and hit "remove" - then over in the list on the right i selected a forward but it tells me i have too many forwards... i have just 3? can i not have more even for reserve? i'm sure i "changed my formation" after week 1 which i think was simply swapping in a midfielder for a forward or something simple like that.

Has to be something simple i'm doing wrong or steps out of order - couldn't find the right section in the FAQ either. anyone have an idea?

You can only remove one player a week unless you use your unlimited option.
