For me, I used to love Cloak and Dagger and BMX Bandits. I don't remember much about BMX Bandits other than being infatuated with a 16 yo Nicole Kidman. (I was 7 when the movie came out, not sure how much later it was on HBO).

We never subscribed to any premium channels growing up, but for some reason we always had The Movie Channel. I remember thinking my Dad was somehow stealing it and getting all paranoid when there were all those ads about going to prison if you steal cable.

not sure how dad justified getting HBO from the mid-70s on but it was awesome for a kid - i often say jokingly (but...) that i've only ever seen like 50 movies in my life and/yet most of those i've seen 50 times. Top of my head incomplete selection from my lethargic living room youth:
