You're allowed a free credit report from each of the 3 bureaus via Annual Credit Report every 12 months.

So why the fuck do 2/3 of them force me to either call or send a fucking request letter and not just, ya know, have it available through the website?

I've been able to do it without issue going back over 10 years. But this year? Nope. Only TransUnion seems to work. So fucking dumb.

Update:

The wedding was great. Very wonderful day. At the beginning of the reception after the groomsmen, bridesmaids, bride and groom entered, the groom was saying his thank yous, and in front of about 140 people, he let the whole wedding party know it was my birthday. I had no idea he was going to do that.

They didn't sing to me, but I put on my "happy birthday" hat and everyone laughed. Funny moment.

She’s 15, which of course is very old for a 50 pound dog. She loses her balance and falls down and sometimes her back end collapses. The vet diagnosed it as “vestibular disease”. The weird thing is that it happened before and she bounced back and seemed fine afterwards, but now it happened again. If her quality of life doesn't get better we might have to let her go. That will be a sad day - she's been a wonderful dog. But, the vet said there’s a good chance she bounces back again.

MC Gusto was diagnosed with that at 13 or 14. Also called “old dog vestibular disease” I think. He had a couple of incidents but made it years after diagnosis. Good luck!

I am volunteering in the green room as the kids have rehearsal...they are the f'ing worse. I coached middle school soccer and if my team acted this way they would be too tired to act like this. I would run them into the ground.

The kids are all self absorbed look at me and get louder and louder showing off for the equally obnoxious twerps.

I don't like school dynamics but I could use some nerds, jocks, bullies, and punks to bring a natural balance to this horde of middle school theater understudy twerps from a well off neighborhood. Or maybe just Ferris Bueller (all kids think he is a righteous dude).

My wife suggested I volunteer for another slot. FTMFS.

We had a huge tree in the front yard that was diseased and hanging over the electric wires. Electric company chopped it down and left a giant pile of rounds, about two feet long. Some of them I can struggle to lift, others are well over 100 pounds. I checked with the Town and they won't help remove. Electric company wasn't sure if the tree service they hired is coming back. So... WTF am I supposed to do with all this wood? I'll offer it for free on Facebook groups, but who wants to deal with giant pieces? Not sure if I have to hire another tree service to pick it up. I thought about renting a UHaul and trying to get the pieces into the truck, but then where do I bring it? Drive to a park at midnight and dump it there?

One of my studio neighbors is a contracted arborist for the city and also a sculptor and takes 'scrap' like that and finishes them to be like $3-5k side tables. Sometimes more if they're larger pieces or fancier woods. Pretty good gig.

Neighbor had a tree fall on the road and the township cut it in large chunks/pushed it into his yard. He wrote free on a piece of cardboard. It was gone within 24 hours. People just showed up with chainsaws and took it. Jersey isn't Pennsyltucky. So it may take a day or two for you...

Posted on Facebook and within 30 seconds I got a response asking if he could just take a few pieces. 15 minutes later got another hit for some of the wood. I tried to warn them about the size of the pieces, hoping they take it.
