If Karma was real, it'd be a muscle injury and he was out because nobody would give him a massage.DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 11:40 am Deshaun Watson out for the remainder of the season with a broken bone in his shoulder.

Well ... full karma would be massages necessary as part of his rehab and then 20+ different masseuses sexually assault him.The Sybian wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 12:17 pmIf Karma was real, it'd be a muscle injury and he was out because nobody would give him a massage.

Depends on the method of sexual assault, I'd guess. The Sybian wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 1:50 pmI think that would be his version of heaven.mister d wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 1:00 pmWell ... full karma would be massages necessary as part of his rehab and then 20+ different masseuses sexually assault him.The Sybian wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 12:17 pmIf Karma was real, it'd be a muscle injury and he was out because nobody would give him a massage.

Kenny Pickett didn't attempt a pass in the middle of the field in the last 2 games.

Re: NFL 2023 Week 11
Ravens looking really strong rn. Is it fair to say that the turning point was letting go of Wink Martindale?
Re: NFL 2023 Week 11
I’m struggling to understand how they lost to the Colts and Browns.

Re: NFL 2023 Week 11
For some reason they make every possible little mistake there is to make, they spend entire halves getting sacked and fumbling, and they don't convert third and fourth downs. In that Colts game I think the returner fair caught the safety kickoff on the 18 with 2:03 on the clock. Just stuff that the Ravens usually don't do. And in at least two of those games (Colts and Steelers) a running back lost a fumble right as they were about to blow those games open. Some of this is almost certainly just bad luck but other stuff is strange for them.
They're basically the Chargers this year but it hasn't been glaring enough for people to notice. The Steelers' win was basically an Act of God and they still barely even won it. I've had the Ravens as my number 1 team for about a month now and they keep getting betting lines that do not reflect that.

Re: NFL 2023 Week 11
Yeah people are hand-waving this but the Bears have so much more variance with Fields, which is not good for a team like Detroit that would have buried Tyson Bagent alive. I'm still on the Lions -9.5 tho.

Yeah, I also feel like the Lions are going to go out of their way to help David Montgomery make a statement against his former employer.

Bears-Lions will feature three sets of brothers playing each other. (Second time in NFL history.)

Oh man, that sucks. I hope for the sake of my fantasy team, Taylor just tells whoever the guy playing moving forward "If you see #1, and there's fewer than four guys around him, throw it in his general direction."
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.

Re: NFL 2023 Week 11
Well, since both Okwora brothers play for the Lions, it would be something if the Bears made out ahead on that one.

The joke here is that she "admitted" to making up sideline reports during her interview with Pardon My Take.

Not surprised by this at all. There's not a single thing these sideline reporters say that is a real revelation. Just cliches and platitudes, it's a job that a chatbot could do.

Re: NFL 2023 Week 11
I don’t think that’s fair. The good one add information that couldn’t be gleaned anyway else. Think how many times you’ve breathed a sigh of relief because Player X who came out injured a few minutes ago is reported to be OK and coming back in a few minutes. It’s like any other job in the world. There are good ones and bad ones.

Re: NFL 2023 Week 11
Another interesting Lions/Bears note - both teams are on historic divisional streaks. Lions have won six straight division games, longest since the 1970 merger and Bears have lost 11 straight, most since the merger.

Re: NFL 2023 Week 11
There is so much "Coach says that they have to do a better job protecting the ball" and "just heard from the training staff that Mark Andrews is questionable to return"brian wrote: ↑Sat Nov 18, 2023 9:14 amI don’t think that’s fair. I'll try to focus more on what they actually say and see if I'm missing something.

Re: NFL 2023 Week 11
The worst are the post-game interviews with the winning players/coaches:
“Talk about how proud you are of this team!”
“Nobody believed you guys could win this game! How great does it feel to prove them wrong?”

I mean you can’t usually blame sideline reporters for coaches always speaking in banalities all the time either.

Re: NFL 2023 Week 11
Sideline reporters are only good for getting injury/player updates. The Thursday night Bengals/Ravens game a great example of that.
Interviews with coaches, players or any other staff are a complete waste of time and frankly should be banned. I don’t know who enjoys those or finds them interesting.

CBS could probably cut back on the shots of Watson watching the game from the sidelines.
