Still got 6. Coming around to post belichick. I'd personally keep the guy because he can run a program but most belichick thing ever to cut ties early. Zero confidence in Kraft to strike gold again but might as well get started. Somehow this also sours me on biden.

Sooooo.... The Red Zone Channel studio has to evacuate the building all of a sudden. They're just going to leave the channel tuned to Eagles/Bills.

Edit:

Looks like the particular studio Scott Hansen is in is ok. It's kinda weird seeing the alarms going off and he's just like, "Uh, ok then."

58 yards, in the rain, with left to right wind. That’s the best kick I’ve ever seen an Eagle make.

Had an eagles fan friend who was sitting in 3rd ($10K) in some Fanduel/Draftkings deal before the Davis TD and now that kick might sink him under $1K. Eagles suck shit.

Holy shit...offense!

Tomlin's embarrassing record of losing challenges is fairly well-documented but don't underestimate the amount of times he neglects to challenge shit that repeatedly cost his team points and momentum. I know, it's not a head coaches responsibility to know rules...he has people for that!

Zay Flowers scores a TD and then does a "toss the bouquet" celebration...leading NBC to go to commercial with the wedding song. That's kinda funny.

I still don't think they're out of it. I keep thinking they make it in, then they're a bona fide title threat. They can still win the division and it wouldn't surprise me in the least. They have no real room for error, but the rest of their schedule is winnable. Miami has a total minefield the last three games (DAL, @BAL, BUF) which could very well make their last game a de facto Division championship game. Either way, either of them would make them the first #7 seed worth a shit. C'mon, does any neutral fan really want to see the Colts in the playoffs?

They remind me a bit of the 2008 Eagles, that every win they had was an ass-whupping, but they kept losing close games, so much so that they were the DVOA champs. They got in the playoffs through luck finally turning their direction, and then wrecked the Vikings' and Giants' shit before falling to the bullshit Cardinals team in the desert.

I still don't understand what their plan was this season as trading Moore never made any sense. Draft a QB first overall and give him the least talented offense to work with seemed like a recipe to fail. Reich didn't do himself any favors as the play calling was so bad he gave it up only to take it back and it was still bad. Fitterer should also be shown the door.

Andy Dalton was just fine with this offense. The owner should have just allowed the coach to draft the generational talent at QB who is turning Nico Collins and Tank Dell into superstars.

I feel kinda bad for Panthers fans. With Tepper in charge, there's no easy way out of this mess. Doesn't appear to be a shortcut to a homecoming. If they threw in the towel, it'd be understandable; giving in can't be wrong.

Tough week for Matt Canada. Fired on Tuesday after an abysmal run as the Steelers OC. In his 44 games as OC the Steelers never once gained 400 yards in a game, which is pretty amazing considering that's not that high a number. The org as a whole hadn't crossed 400 yards in 58 games! But then in GAME 1 of the post Matt Canada era, the Steelers cross 400 yards. Same players, probably the same playbook, considering they only had a few days to prepare, but much better production (if you ignore the fact that they still only scored 16).

If he ever had a chance of getting another shot at OC, that game yesterday eliminated that possibility.

The strangest thing is all of the stuff I am reading and talking about is Washington is the job to be interested in at the GM and coaching level. Lots of cap space, good draft positions, a QB that may be pretty good, and no Dan Snyder.

Chargers will probably be the best job though will depend on which team gets #1 overall pick.

Bears will hopefully be firing Eberflus (and more) and have Carolina's first rounder...

Yeah Chicago with #1 pick could give LA a run for their money. Chicago has some pieces already so just a question of how the hot assistants feel about Williams. Chicago (regardless of their specific picks because they’ll have two high ones and pieces in place) and LA seem likely to be two “best” jobs though.

Jerloma does truly think that the coach of the team saw that play at live speed from the sideline, knew that possession was (arguably) established in-bounds, but refused to throw the red flag solely because he doesn't know what the rules are.

No losing seasons in 20 years. Two super bowl wins. three appearances. Providence is hard, I guess.
