All in on the Six Nations. It helps that Scotland are doing well. I have no idea what any of the penalties are, and have no idea how they don't get more injured.

Wales are officially shite at rugby and to make things worse, the pork barrel chasing, sexist, misogynistic, racist, xenophobic men working at the WRU and running the amateur clubs are trying their best to embarrass the nation and attempt to keep Welsh rugby 50 years behind the world. Cunts, all of them...

No early AM EPL so I’m a rugby guy now and Ireland being able to clinch in Dublin on St Pats weekend by beating England seems too good

England are tough, but that situation you describe sounds lovely.

Looks like my Scots are TCB vs the Italians. Italy have my favorite non-Scot in the tournament. I can't remember his name, but he's so much smaller than everyone else, fast as shit, and seemingly fearless.

On the previous page of this thread I posted about seeing a fun Sevens tournament when we were in Scotland last year. To your point above, I picked out one small, fast guy as my favorite player. But, then, a big burly opposition player had the ball and burst through the tacklers and my guy was the last man back, directly in the brute’s path. He bravely attempted to take him on, but the guy ran right over him, and they had to take the little guy off the field on a stretcher. Disappointing.

World Cup starts today with an absolute belter of a game, France v All Blacks, 3pm on Peacock.

Difficult to se past the Boks as eventual champions though.

At the urging of a former rugby-playing buddy of mine, I watched the France-South Africa and Ireland-New Zealand matches, and HOLY SHIT were they intense.

Ok, that was all I needed to hear. I've recorded all of the WV games but with NCAAFB in full gear and the NHL going, I've seen very few of the games.

Semi Finals coming up, tomorrow NZ/Argentina and Saturday Boks/England.

Going for a repeat of the Matt Damon final in 1995 and sticking with my original prediction.

I love the mic'd up refs. Adds to the presentation of the game. Also the culture of not arguing with the officials is noticeable.

They were incredibly lucky in all of their last three matches. Honestly they shit the bed a bit last night but so did the all blacks.

Faf de Klerk is an unbelievable sports villain. An absolute master of the dark arts and being annoying in rugby. Hell of a player even if I dislike him intensely.

Toronto and New York Major League Rugby teams fold. Atlanta is apparently in trouble. So Miami joins and could be a 10 team league in 2024.

I'm surprised Denver doesn't get a team given the Glendale 7's tournament
