I know he was being glib / cute, but the fact remains the 6-2 Lions should be viewed through the lens that their past 5 wins are against teams with a combined record of 10-20. Still, they did beat KC on the road to start the season. So Lions fans can’t quit them just yet.

I think that's always generally been the case with Goff, though I do like this Lions team and weirdly close games happen as do occasional blowout losses. I just can't help but comment when Brian treats this like a local sports board.
