Hands up. Who predicted Arsenal would lose to West Ham and Fulham in the space of two days?

Newcastle keeper was keeping them in the match.

Pretty funny watching Klopp searching the pitch for his wedding ring.

Not for me, I lost my ring twice on soccer fields. The first time at a tournament with 36 grass fields. Of course, I get the call someone turned it in as I pull into my driveway.

Fans going mad in England about this, talking about Toney being brilliant or a cheat. Whether its Rivaldo faking being hit in the face with a ball or Maradona and 'the hand of god', the beautiful game has always been full of cheats and will continue to be. Fans on both sides will always be hypocrites about this sort of thing.

I hope Robbie Mustoe doesn’t see her do it. Didn’t realize he is such a pearl-clutcher.

My daughter is in the Mustoe camp on this. At first she said it's against the rules. I said only if the ref tells you not to. The look on her face made it clear she isn't trying this.

As a MI fan who really gives zero fucks about all the whining that went on this year, I guess I'm disqualified from having a strong opinion here.

(I have some mild opinions on it... 1) When they allow throw-ins to be completely independent/untethered to where the ball goes out, getting all worked up about moving the spot kick a few inches seems a little bit overblown. 2) Turner should be watching for that. Every kicker tries to screw with the placement. Much less so now with foam, so maybe that's why he was complacent? 3) On the other hand, saying it's ok to cheat just because the Ref doesn't explicitly tell you not to break a rule is... dubious from a moral/ethical standpoint. Like, putting the ball 3 inches over the line on a corner kick when the AR is working the opposite sideline is still cheating.)

I assume this was a perfect storm, only thing missing was being on an inherently hateable team. The moving of the chalk seems like the biggest deal, but you also have the recent suspension and he's a black dude.

When I was in New Mexico recently, I would walk my parents’ little yorkie around their neighborhood. They live in a retirement area and lots old folks you see on a walk want to pet the dog and chat a bit. I met one very old fellow with an English accent so I asked him where he hailed from. “London. Tottenham”. So I brought up the team. He got excited and wanted to hear some news. Turns out he had been a big supporter but hadn’t kept up in recent years. He was crushed, absolutely gutted, to hear that Harry Kane is now playing in Germany!

Chelsea is stomping Middlesbrough in the second leg of the Caribao Cup semis (after going down 1-0 in the first). Chelsea may not make it to European competition this year, but they'll be in the Caribao Cup finals at least. They'll probably lose to Liverpool in PKs again.

Not sure if that's a great move for him. Captain of that team plays the 10. I guess they can play Gio out wide, but it's not like CP where he was guaranteed a spot from the jump at Milan.
