Dilbert

Gleefully, Scott Adams finally wasted whatever chits he had left after his racist and stereotypically bullshit and the comic strip has been pulled by its syndicate and cancelled.

Peace out, fuckwad.

Hopefully, now he’ll go away and not be heard of again. But, he does have a budding career as a Faux News pundit, so we probably won’t be that lucky.

My guess is this makes him a champion of the Right and he gets way more attention, at least for a few months. It’s so weird, he first came out during the 2016 campaign saying he thought Trump would win, but didn’t seem happy about it. Then he turned full on nutter. It seemed like a reaction to people calling him crazy for thinking Trump could win, but he must have either always had these beliefs and feels freed to speak it, or he had a mental break. Either way, I never understood how anyone found Dilbert funny.

I guess it's easier to just "stay away from black people" if your job is writing a comic strip, but how the fuck did he manage to do that his entire life? I grew up in a mafia neighborhood in a town with one black family and I still somehow managed to figure out that black people are just people before I hit puberty.

Or does he just mean to stay away from today's scary white-hating black people?

Dilbert was funny back in the day. Loooong ago. But then, I was a young computer programmer, so the jokes were directed right at me.

I suspect that Adams started losing the plot as his success waned over the years. I suspect he started getting more and more cynical as his checks got smaller and smaller and he started looking for someone else to blame.

I did have to Google the date of game 5 of the Rockets/Jazz first round playoff series and then add 1.

Wait, was Clemens on the Astros then. Congrats, Blake. That should go in the brushes thread.
