Great season.

Anyway, after watching a couple videos and a quick wiki search, and having 40 years on and not wearing red-white-and-blue colored glasses, Zola Budd was not at fault at all. She was in front, and Mary Decker twice hit Budd's legs from behind. Too bad. She got a lot of undeserved shit from that.
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.

So, is tuna not a meat? Just curious on the decision as there was no note in the original question posted here or in the email I received.

And I totally read the Weird Al question wrong.

I cannot get through one of these without a game-deciding problem.

The note to avoid saying tuna is in my scoresheet but I never pasted it anywhere. I have to award a correct answer.

That's 11 points off of Duff's score with no change to anyone else. I can't find a picture of the back of noted Dallas WR Quincy McDuffie, but someone can AI it if they want.

Congrats to both of you for winning and/or finishing second.

So I lost on a late official's decision?

Guess I really was representing the Browns.

God damn it!

And thanks for a great season Ryan - really enjoyed it until the Faye Dunaway moment at the end. And thanks for the Greg Pruitt reference.

Win or lose, I am just pleased with myself for getting a hockey question correct that you got wrong. Take the Canada card from this man.

Bad enough that I was repping the Browns - I had to go and reference the Leafs as well.

Great win Duff. I am ready, willing and able to step in for you in case of scandal.

Excellent point. JLo can run a full season next year.

As difficult a decision to swap champions, I have to say, Ryan has given me (and presumably all of us) leeway or clarifications and chances to change answers way less reasonable than listing tuna as meat.

What’s funny is that on top of forgetting the tuna disclaimer, I had also decided (quietly) to be 100% strict about not following up with anyone for bad answers that weren’t my fault and then I still almost emailed Duff before deciding against it.

If you had done that, Duff would have still won with any correct answer besides Salami which would have been a tie.

It was my in depth knowledge of Imagine Dragons and Weird Al that put me over the top...

...and by knowledge I mean wild guess. When I saw the word "Inactive" I immediately started singing Radioactive in my head. Had no actual idea if Weird Al parodied that or not.
