This is one of the craziest stats ever. Dude literally just operates behind the line. I'm guessing those 8 2PT shots were just him with his foot on the 3PT line.

That kid is the closest I've ever seen to myself in basketball. Tall friends + shitty handle + fear of a massive block and the ensuing mockery meant I almost never stepped inside the line when we'd play on real courts.

He went Carson Edwards on Kentucky - complete with the banked-in three. Kentucky just needed Kihei Clark to save them.

What’s going on in this Northwestern-FAU game? They both average over 72 PPG, but it’s 16-12 with about 5:30 left in the 1st. They must’ve spent all last night in the Meatpacking District.

So the lesson kids is to flop like a bitch to get the refs attention if they miss an errant arm that slaps your face.

I honestly didn't know they could review a blown call and apply a penalty in the past. I know about upgrading penalties, but not that.

FAU-NW... they must've figured something out... 58-56 FAU with about 1:20 left in the game. Timeout, NW with possession.

LOL at the refs not calling a foul there.

And now the announcers are saying they can't call a foul. Despite the fact Goldin flopping to the ground caused a stoppage of play several seconds later, and then they decided the no-call was actually a technical foul.

But the intentional foul by FAU can't be reviewed because it wasn't called.

So stupid.

FAU is puzzling. Like, if you're going to foul, FOUL. Don't let them dick around for 10 or so seconds.

Yeah, that was weird and I'm more inclined to blame the coach for not being explicit there? Its like they weren't fouling but also not expecting Northwestern to eventually play.

Seems like a good place to drop this quote:
SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey (on NCAA Tournament expansion) wrote:"We are giving away highly competitive opportunities for automatic qualifiers (from smaller leagues), and I think that pressure is going to rise as we have more competitive basketball leagues at the top end because of (conference) expansion."
Because everything sucks we know assholes like this are gonna win in the end but gotta hope he feels a little twinge of shame this weekend.

Holy shit did Auburn miss a ton of free throws at the end. Good shooters too. It reminded me of how UVA blew the NC State game a week ago. (And nearly the BC game the night before)

SEC was seeded to be 6-0 right now. Instead, they are 1-5. Karma blames Sankey.
