Co worker says it's amazing. I need to check it out.
It made Sepinwall's year end list so it was on my radar, but the rass endorsement moves it up the pecking order.
It's possible I started watching it because of his initial raves. Circle of life.
I felt aswirl with warm secretions.

Hope Zack Snyder writes himself a good script someday, cause he sure gets a lot of money to make cool looking movies that are just otherwise silly.

Did…did… you make a point about ripping off a movie posting a prominent example of ripping off a movie?

Watching ‘The Recruit’ on Netflix with my dad and brother. It’s pretty good so far (3 episodes in). 8 episodes for S1, and apparently S2 is in the oven.

how did the white bad guy become such a good fighter? He pretty much dominated the best samurai and held his own against the two best fighting him at the same time.

10 years or whatever it was of hanging out in that castle and having nothing to do but become an expert at whatever he turned his mind to.

Loving "One Piece" - the live action version. It is a lot of fun and looks absolutely incredible.

Currently watching Loudermilk. It took a few episodes, but I'm really liking it. Ron Livingston playing a cranky AA meeting leader, created by one of the Farrelly brothers and originally aired on something called Audience, that I think was a DirectTV channel. Very low budget show with a bunch of weird sad sap characters.

Watched the first half of the mini-series, “Who is Erin Carter?” tonight with my dad before I drive back north tomorrow.

It’s solid. If you’re dating/married to a woman who likes action flicks with female heroes? She’ll love this.

We watched that. Pretty entertaining.

I got confused, because there's one that came out about a year ago that focuses on qualifying. Finally realized this one is new and, yes, E1 is pretty good.

I've been really into Jon Batiste's music lately, and just watched this: https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/ ... -cast-news. It's an emotional one but he comes across so impressive.

We watched the doc about the making of "We Are The World" last night, and its fun.

Still can't figure out how the hell Dan Ackroyd was included, though.

Merle Haggard saying "yeah, I'm outta here" was funny.

And drunk Al Jarreau...

So just watched the trailer for Unfrosted (Jerry Seinfeld movie around the invention of the pop tart). Wow lots of celebs showing up but man that looks worse than Bee Movie. The trailer makes me think it was as if he watched the pool party seem from the Weird Al movie (Harry Potter as weird Al was surprisingly fun) and decide to do 90 minutes of just that.

The Beautiful Game is a traditional feel good sports story. But it is better than most garbage disney sports comeback stories.

I watched the first episode of the Netflix ManCity series ("Together, Treble Winners") and the two takeaways so far:
  • Pep is a lunatic genius
  • Jack Grealish is a genial lunk head.

Now I can't get that damn song outta my head. Really fun thing to watch.

The stuff about Sheila E and Prince was almost funny, but I kind of felt bad that she felt used. I mean, c'mon Sheila, you really think they're gonna have you do a solo/duet if it's not with Prince?
