I was driving and my wife called me asking if I was ok. I couldn't feel it, and drove past lots of people walking their dogs, and didn't see any signs of anything unusual. Parked a couple minutes later, nothing online yet, but man was FaceBook going off! Surprised I couldn't feel it based on the reactions.

Yep, about 10 miles west of Philly here. But it felt like a large truck was rolling by the house. There was more rumble when they repaved the street a couple years ago.

was on a call at the time -- dog went nuts right before it hit-- i though the UPS truck had hit the house next door - folks on the call CT, RI, Albany all felt it.
lots of excitement on many work teams' chats -- we've folks all over the country, the cali folks were non plussed (sacramento area had three in the last few days)

engineering buddies sent multiple post incident checklists-- good to have.

we live off main street,, near US1 and the interstate -- lots of high speed sirens after the fact -- local FB pages are going nutty.
walked the property and inspected all pipes and foundation and basement -- all looks good.

next.. aliens or some sort of post celestial event apocalyptic landscape.. oh and just saw the USGeo survey says area 50% likely to get another one in the next week (so coin flip)

90% of the kids outdoors at track practice didn’t feel a thing. Throwers in the weight room had a grand old time. I didn’t know about it until my wife texted me. Feel like I missed out.

We were on the road to UConn, but the wife’s text group went off. After shock clicked in at 4.0.

Oh my god I’m in upstate/“downstate” NY too now!!!

(But I was still in NJ for the 4.0. Didn’t notice it as I was “pulling a Rass” but the kids did downstairs.)
