Excited that it’s post-apocalyptic husk is going to make an appearance in the Fallout series on Amazon.

The combo of this thread and the fact that I recently visited the place... now it just cracks me up every time it's used as the quintessential LA establishing shot.

Sugar uses it about every episode by my reckoning.

Woke up a little after 5am and couldn’t fall back to sleep and went downstairs and flipped on the TV and flipped through some channels and settled on The Last Boyscout which eventually rewarded me with this (about a minute in, not sure how to set a time stamp from my phone at 6am):

AB was nice enough to tell me he noticed the observatory earlier this week in some portion of NBC’s Paris coverage/LA2028 hype, but it was also in the closing ceremony pre-recorded portion with

Tom Cruise turning the “OO” in the Hollywood sign into part of the Olympic rings after taking the flag from the stadium in Paris on a motorcycle and driving it onto a plane and skydiving somewhere above LA.

Ha, just saw this when I pulled up this thread after the Griffith Observatory was brought up at a fantasy draft. Thanks for remembering my least favorite band!
