Joel looked lost out there. It was kind of sad.

I only watched some of Sunday's game but I think it was the first time I ever rooted for the Knicks. Embiid's antics drive me crazy, and the "charge" Lowry suckered officials into calling was so ridiculous. Also, I really like Brunson's game. I probably missed it, but how could Dallas give him up -- was his game not compatible with Doncic's? Also, there was quite the contrast of the Knicks and Sixers missing so many open shots at the end of that game and then watching the Clippers hit absolutely everything in the beginning of the next game.

Bell's palsy will fuck you up. Really put my mom in a bind when she was dealing with the stress of her parents dying. I know he's a professional athlete but not sure it matters that much what kind of condition you are in prior. And so far as I know, the only cure is rest, which is not what an NBA players in the playoffs gets a lot of.
You know what you need? A lyrical sucker punch to the face.

More or less in that they are both players who need to have the ball in their hands to get the best out of them. In comparison, Kyrie is a better three-point shooter, so he is more suited to playing off the ball with Doncic than Brunson.

Knicks were a perfect situation for a ball dominant player to walk into but man ... they way they break down from Brunson initiating ball movement to Brunson do-or-die when they need a bucket is hard to watch. There were 3 or 4 times late last night where Philadelphia knew they could collapse on him and there was no kickout to worry about.

Add to the fact he is 35 and not the defensive juggernaut that he once was. Just a headache for any team that he plays for from now on.

Man, I have never seen a NBA team quit like the Nuggets did last night. No adjustments until the second half, sloppy and stupid play. I don't think the series is making it a back to Denver.

Minnesota looks like a team on a mission, largely because Ant has turned into a legit superstar. On and off the hardwood - dude says and does all the right things. Easy team to root for as a neutral (except for Gobert but...I will even overlook that doofus).

If OKC can solve Luka/Kyrie, an OKC/Minn western conference finals would be an absolute blast.

It does need to be mentioned that KAT rather willingly deferred the Alpha-status in the room, which is not easy for a fellow #1 overall.

Fair point. I was more referencing his gassing up of McDaniels’ defense.

Going into the season I told people that the only teams in the West that scared me were MN and OKC...now that we're into the second round it's only MN...I think they demolish OKC.

My all-encompassing love for a Villanova player is the only distressing part of this Rangers/Knicks run.

10 minute drive home and the Knicks are being doubled up. When is it ok to give up and sit everyone who’s been playing too much the last three weeks?

I don’t know what the odds are of the Pistons being fucked from 1st to 5th two years in a row are but it’s gotta be in the hundreds or thousands to-1

Without looking how many second-round picks do you think are not subject to any trades or other adjustment. In other words, how many teams out of 30 actually own their own 2nd round pick?

Apparently the odds were 47 percent which is frankly fucking insane. Look I’m against tanking but it should be almost impossible to have the worst record in the league two years in a row and pick 5th two years in a row.
