Pretty interesting article at the Athletic about why they hired Slot.

My initial thinking is I'd be on board with Poch replacing EtH, but that Slot article really has me hoping the new Man U brass is a forward thinking as the Liverpool intelligentsia and they have a great way to find the next manager.
Until everything is less insane, I'm mixing weed with wine.

Shit, I hadn't seen that. Seems like a mistake to me.

This is one of those times where I believe the reporting that it was mutual. That roster and management just has to be a disaster to manage.

Hopefully its as successful as the great way they used to find Nunez.

Yeah, they were much improved in the back half of the season. Seems like the gaffer would get some credit for that.

Really, really love Eze so this knocks out atleast one other potential option:

Don't remember if I saw it discussed here, but interesting that FA replays are being scrapped in the name of "player wear and tear" and yet Spurs and Newcastle played a friendly on the other side of the world barely a week after the end of the season.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

Since it is promotion to epl

Southampton likely going to hold.on and beat Leeds...but love the secondary sponsors. Southampton has Moon Pig on the back of the shorts (Greeting Card company) and Leeds has Flaming Land on the sleeve.

Flamingo Land is Yorkshire's ultimate Theme Park attraction & an award winning Zoo, plus a luxury Resort Village, for fantastic family days out, holidays & short breaks.
