Suarez just hurt his mouth biting a dude? Love it.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Flopping after you bite someone, grabbing your teeth. Awesome.
Who knows? Maybe, you were kidnapped, tied up, taken away and held for ransom.

I thought maybe Chiellini could use the bite marks to get the red for Suarez. Like a batter using a shoe polish mark to prove he was hit by the pitch.

It sucks to see Uruguay win after Suarez Cannibalism III, but it's always nice to see Italy get eliminated.

Holy shit. Liverpool may have trouble getting rid of him now (not that they wanted to before.) FIFA can ban him from all competitions?

Bob Ley is so depressed over the biting. Jim McKay was less dour at Munich '72.

Yeah, I think we need to keep this in perspective. It's the Azzurri that went out. This is a cause for celebration.

There's not a mechanism to ban him from this tournament, right?

I would think FIFA could step in and ban him. I bet they do, and he's out for about 6 months or more, from all competitions. It's what Adam Silver would do.

Just in general, that was shitty game. Both of those teams are chock-a-block with assholes and dirty, underhanded play. I mean, I knew this going in, of course, but that was some cartoon-level "living up to reputation" stuff today.

Someone mentioned WWE... totally agree. And there's a reason I don't watch that shit.

Did they suspend that guy in the 2002 (?) World Cup who had the ball kicked at his legs and then went down grabbing his face?

I thought the second half was riveting because of them living up to their reputations. Kind of like watching a car crash.
