Really? That seems odd, but I'm definitely not getting rid of LastPass.Shirley wrote: Fri Aug 12, 2022 4:53 pmI did some more investigation and found that it's the LastPass Chrome Extension that's breaking it. Hopefully they'll fix it soon, because I kinda need that one. https://community.logmein.com/t5/LastPa ... m-p/291536

I might need to pass the hat in late 2023, pending on whether or not the last increase was a one-time bump our not. But, we're more than good for a while unless something unforeseen happens.Steve of phpBB wrote: Fri Aug 12, 2022 8:13 pmAre we good on funds?Shirley wrote: Fri Aug 12, 2022 6:29 pm While I have you all here, I do need to update the board at some point. We aren't way out of date, but it's best to stay updated. I'll probably try to do it this weekend. If you notice things down for a bit, just try again later.
Board looks drunk, by the way. So... apt.

I'm going to update our phpbb version here in a few minutes. You might notice the site down for a bit. Hopefully just a bit...

Backing up the DB is taking longer than I thought. I'll do the update later today when it's done. I'll update our extensions as well, including the media extension.

Just switch "x" to "twitter."Shirley wrote: Sun Feb 04, 2024 2:07 pm Done. Let me test to see if the new Media Embed extension supports x.com links ...

I bet that it's the site itself that won't let you because when I copy the link to share, it still says "twitter."

Exactly. I'm more than a little surprised that they haven't fixed that since it's been x.com for quite a while now. Just goes to show that phpbb ain't exactly the most popular of boards these days.A_B wrote: Sun Feb 04, 2024 5:01 pm I think the point is Shirley was trying to fix that workaround n

I'm gonna update the board in a bit and see if I can't install a new media embed plugin. Things might be locked and/or janky for a few...

Been an uptick in spam accounts in posts this week. I've been deleting/banning but not sure if something from the upgrade left a new opening, or unplugged an old one?

I've opened a support ticket about the site slowness and errors I've been seeing lately. I assume I'm not the only one who's getting them.

During this visit, it has been slow to open threads, but otherwise fine, save for this, which I don't recall ever get while trying to open a thread (the investments one).
