Sailing season has started again here in Seattle.

Yesterday, this happened. My boat didn't go out (we broke a stanchion as we were leaving the dock)...but it was pretty breezy and lumpy.

Anyways, a boat buried their bow in a wave and the bow pulpit broke, which caused the lifelines to go slack and put people into the water.

Someone on a passing ferry got video of the MOB retrieval process.
