Damn. I noticed I was alone the other night and was going to try and give the forum it's first run. But after 4 posts I got bored.

Way to persevere Hodor!!

I haven't read the books, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the series concludes with Tyrion and Hodor teaming up to form MasterBlaster.

In all seriousness, I thought about deleting them, but it's a fine piece of performance art. If it happens again and I'm around I'll put a stop to it.

Consider it an homage to Ye Swampe of Olde

It brings back two things that used to be common.... phony aliases, and shooting for run of page 1 of the board.

As for which threads have new posts, the Hodor game stopped at 7:04 am, so any post after then is fresh and new.

That's fine and all if you actually post something useful - even slightly - in every thread. Otherwise, you're just fucking up the board.

i'm with shirley. plus, it's not a real "run" when you're the same one word in each thread.

it's more akin to a stoke result.

Yeah, if Bengal would have just posted "Bengal" when he made his epic full page run back in the day, it wouldn't have been celebrated. He would have been deported to Laos.

I dunno, the one time I tried, I posted smarmy remarks, jokey comebacks, and basically anything that came to my head. Trying to make 40+ meaningful, insightful posts as fast as possible is redonkulously hard.

FWIW, I'm not saying I want to see it happening regularly. I just enjoyed this one. Especially because I just started watching GoT, and think the Hodor char is hysterical. He's pretty much there solely for comic relief in S1. Maybe his role grows in S2 & S3, I don't know.

I assumed it was a regular the whole time, mainly because so far, the bots have all been wonderful names like "STraagaieond" or "5hdh84hd3"

But that pales in comparison to how much better the Swamp is when Johnny Hotcakes is here and posting.

You can't imagine how confusing all of this is for people who don't watch the show but apparently follow exclusively GoT fans on twitter.
