Oh yeah. Would want #10 included, but just go to 11 after and not back around to 18.

That first playoff hole where they kept ending up in approximately the same spot was a lot of fun to watch. I don't usually watch PGA on tv, but that was exciting stuff.

Say what you will about Steve Williams but I'm hard pressed to think of anyone else I'd want caddying for me at The Masters. That's what? Four wins for him now?

Great playoff. If The Duck doesn't miss his final putt by an inch? Wow. 15 great shots in the playoff, the way it should be (I'm looking at you guys, Mike Weir and Len Mattiace).

Isn't he the highest paid NZ "sportsman" in history? I believe I read that during the "beating Tiger's black ass" scandal.

I remember Adam Scott took some heat after Williams went off that last time, but I'm sure he has zero regrets. Less than zero, even.

I know that the "long putter" debate will go on and on without foreseeable end but, really, is your back so bad that (at 32-years of age, in the case of Adam Scott) you need an extended putter? Because I can't help but note that your back is not so bad that you can ratchet up a 325-yard drive off of a tee.

That's the disconnect for me.

Granted, Golf is the one sport with far more flexible standards compared to others.

And by that, the (obvious) can-of-worms is "does the long-putter give an advantage"? Well, does Tiger's drop yesterday give an advantage? The reason Tiger was penalized was because the rule under which he was penalized was written to prevent advantages.

Meh. I've played Golf since I was 11-years old. And I don't know that there even is a decent answer to that. But I look at rules affecting (Casey) saying that you can't play in a cart because the physical part of the game is a huge part of the game. Fair enough. Long-putters were invented to alleviate back problems. Yet both were compensatory.

I'm just babbling. You make a 17-foot hard-breaking putt in the rain to win a playoff in The Masters and I'm impressed if you used a cricket bat to do it.

One note of interest...yes, Adam Scott is the first Aussie to win the Masters. But the thing wasn't shown live here, which seemed kinda goofy to me, considering how sports mad this whole country is.

Nantz kept insisting that the entire country of Australia was glued to their TVs, living and dying with Scott's every swing or stroke. I knew he was full of shit.

Yeah I was pretty sure every Aussie was racing across a dusty plain to seize some precious petrol supplies. At least that's how I pictured it.

Really? I thought life over there was cliff diving every day, and a sirloin with a side of coconut shrimp every night.
