Maybe this is just me, but is it common for cold weather and this much snow to last this long? I mean, I feel like suddenly everything's gone to shit. Perhaps I just don't pay enough attention to weather everywhere, but mid-April seems like when the temperatures should be rising faster than it is.

Supposedly, an effect of global warming is more volatile weather, with swings both directions. But also, it's not that unusual to have a winter storm in early-mid spring. It doesn't happen every year, but it happens. Especially when you're talking about Wyoming and Colorado.

It was a balmy 68 for our soccer game last night. Almost needed sleeves!

I remember April often being cold and snowy in Chicago. I was at one Cubs opener that was snowed out, and another when it was below freezing.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

33 and snowing hard in Grand Rapids yesterday. 2 hours south it was a nice balmy 61 with no snow.

I can recall both snow on Easter, and shorts (jorts for us heathens) on Easter, so yeah not so crazy. Especially considering Easter was early this year.

During my junior year of college, it snowed in Meadville, PA on May 2nd. April snows were rather common.

This was the Blue Jays' first game ever, on April 7, 1977.

Yeah the massive swings are pretty typical here. I am glad that the 70+ days are on the weekends and the snow/rain/hardcore wind has decided to occupy the first part of the work week.

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
