Just heard my third different Bob Seger song of the day, each on a different radio station.

The last two times I went to the supermarket up the street from my house, by bill ended up being a whole number. Exactly $41 on Sunday, and $15 today.
I felt aswirl with warm secretions.

I filled up the gas tank of my wife's Ford Escape today and the total came to exactly $37 even without me even looking at the meter. That probably won't happen for another one hundred or so fill-ups.

Hollywood Nights
Old time Rock and Roll
Fire Down Below

And it was actually just two stations.

(I had to check playlists to remember exactly what the second song was. Bob Seger has taken up an unexpectedly large portion of my evening)

I really like one of those songs. Chance to redeem yourself if you can guess which one.

Fuck. I typed Fire Down Below then changed. Obvs it is your fav. Because it is the best Seger tune (not in a Coen Bros. film.) Lookin' out for Rosie.

Now I feel bad. I know you've made that kind of joke before and I was going for a callback, not talking about the real person.

No reason to feel bad, I took no offense. The risk was well worth it, as that was a really good joke. It actually took me a second, as I was thinking it was a reference to my screen name.

Old Time Rock and Roll is the worst. Every time it's played at a wedding, I always have to sit down and let the corny people dance.

I agree with this. I like to say that if old time rock and roll was actually like the song Old Time Rock and Roll, then I wouldn't be a fan of it.

It's a damn good thing they stopped trading pork bellies before the bacon bubble bursts. It is inevitable.

I found it interesting that bacon was considered a seasonable food. Speculation was for the amount of bacon needed for tomato season for BLTs.
