Trav, that was a brutal crushing you just applied. Y.E. Yang, followed by a Jordan-esque Ryan Fitzpatrick when I just knew that no one would recall Big 10 legend Sage Rosenfels? That was some smoking SwampCrash right there.

Thanks to Ryan for the Friday afternoon entertainment.

I actually switched from Kyrgyzstan earlier thinking it would be a 10-pointer or so, whoever was saying that. Brian may have benefited from an odd Jordan psychological phenomenon that needs a name.

Also figured TJ Yates would be a huge answer. Dave Ragone and Tony Banks started games for the Texans? That's insane. Dave Ragone!

I knew that rule, so I was a bit concerned that I was playing the guy who submitted Q10. Luckily we did not tie. Good game, TT.

That's actually a good point that should possibly become a rule - only Ryan Q's for Q10

I don't think Dave Ragone's mom remembers Dave Ragone starting for the Texans.

Best game I have had in the NFL Swampcrash Era, and I had to play Diamond. I actually led the entire way through the non-sports, then promptly get the first sports question wrong. Good game Diamond and thanks Ryan.

DC, Sage is Jewish, of course he was going to be a big answer. In retrospect, I should have thought of that when I answered. I was just so excited to get to answer a sports question with a Jew.

Stupid Skydome was built later than I thought, so I went McGriff instead of Joe Carter. Wanted to go Dawson, but thought it'd be a big scorer. I can't figure you people out.

Are all of you usually this good, or have I just had a tough schedule so far?

Just back from shooting 114 on the municipal course I've played ten times this year.

This has saved my day!

That's absurd. He's just a guy from Iowa to me, and has a cool name. There have been lots of football players who were Jewish. Sid Luckman for example. Allie Sherman used to coach the Giants. And, and ... okay give me a minute here.

I did a search yesterday after commenting on Jay Fiedler. I was very surprised to see Lyle Alzado on that list. Never would have guessed that.

Sure. He's probably listed next to Ben "Star of" Davidson on the Alltime AFL Jews team. What a defensive line!

According to the ever informative jewornotjew.com, this is a complete list of current Sons of Abraham playing in the NFL.

Gabe Carimi!

Adam Podlesh!

Taylor Mays!

Oy...

But Mark Trestman? A Jew!

And I just learned that Hall of Famer Andre Tippett converted to Judaism and is an active member of his congregation.

It goes without saying that he became a Jew AFTER his playing career was over.

2 Jewish Schwartzes. Here is a list. Not a very long list. almost as many owners as players. Never knew Al Davis was Jewish. Really surprised to see Andre Tippett.

Jim Schwartz' son is named Christian.

I once did a count and realized that there may be a dozen NFL teams owned by Landsmen, but only three active players. So all those Jewish mothers who wouldn't let their sons play football because it interfered with preparing for the LSATs may have been on to something.

Thanks, good game to you.

I take great pleasure in any win over the Jets. My irrational dislike was forged at UB on my floor freshman year. Double smiley bonus points to beat a UB Jet fan.

I still have the dream alive of an imperfect season.

I thought that I had Madam Bovary as but looking at my notes I did write down Butterfly; and I was going to go with Lolita but thought that would be the most popular answer. For having 2 one point answers I certainly got my ass kicked.
