Usually diving into first makes you look like that douchebag Nick Punto, but that was the only reason that play was close.

Should everybody be tagging up from second on a fly ball to left?

Into 'The Firm' (Herrera, Davis, Holland) in the fourth inning. I think that is a good sign. Maddy will be joining us soon; don't know if that is a good or bad sign.

Hell yeah it was. I got a kick out of watching L-Jam get super excited about the perfecto while almost everyone else wanted to watch the NBA playoffs.

This booth has been very bad, but I did have an "atleast there's no McCarver" moment when they talked about Posey being in between and it wasn't followed by a 3 minute McCarver monologue on what that phrase means.

Typical Maddy rough first inning. He'll settle. Shit, he might even finish, but that is looking way too far ahead.

I don't see a *need* to take him out unless he looks gassed when Cain's turn comes up. As good as your relievers results are, there are like 5 Royals I take ahead of them so I'd ride him out.

A lot of talking about "riding" pitchers in a way I'm not entirely comfortable with. We are men, not beasts.
