Any good bets for tonight, fellas? Anything y'alls like?

Didn't see anything good tonight, so I took PSU +10000 to win the Big East tourney.

That WOULD be quite the upset.

They almost pulled off one upset last weekend. Now I only need them to pull off like 4!

Did y'all watch that game? That Carrot Top with a bullcut motherfucker on Wisconsin threw it away off of inbounds 2 or 3 times at the end of the game. He tried to give the game away to PSU on a platter, but couldn't even do that right. White guys with curly red hair and pink skin should just stay the fuck away from basketball courts.

Yes. They got it back on the tie-up.

If you think I'm picking PSU to win the Big Ten tournament because I think it's a great bet and not because I like PSU so why the hell not, you may as well just save the keystrokes.

No no, I wasn't trying to say that at all, my man. I had Wisconsin in that game, so I was more commenting on how awful Brusewitz was down the stretch.

Not my finest hour. Would you believe that I also had Georgetown -5.5 and Illinois +2?

Gambling on football is infinitely more fun than gambling on hockey and/or basketball.

I only bet on basketball this time of year and it is frustrating as hell. You see more bad beats in one day of college hoops than in a whole season of college football.

Agreed. If I think that I might be around to watch a game though I try to put some small dollars down on it even if I have no intelligent basis for picking one way or another. It enhances my viewing experience, especially if it's a game that I otherwise have zero rooting interest in. Only way I can care about the outcome of a Vanderbilt game.

I just hate betting on the big favorites. Just tonight for example there is OKC -17, Toronto -12, Indiana -10. Just can't bring myself to do it, so most of my bets end up being on the dogs.

At least 80% of my action is also on underdogs. Especially the big dogs. Tonight I was going to take LAL/Indiana UNDER 190.5 and Charlotte +12 @ Toronto, but decided instead to forget the CHA/TOR bet and parlay the Lakers/Pacers under with Miami straight up over Milwaukee. Basically doubles the payout if I hit the under.

I put loot down on 8 of Cousin Sal's prop bets

Wisco to win West
UNC to win South
NCSt to win East
St. Louis to win Midwest

Big East team to win championship
Duke to make Elite Eight
Big 10 teams OVER 13 wins
Total seeds in final four UNDER 12.5

If it's college, I don't do college.

EDIT: And Heat is just plain useless. His idea, and he's written maybe 4 posts.

I like the Rigondeaux - Donaire fight to go over 11.5 rounds at -110.

The bet paid -140 last night though, so I'm not sure if one of the fighters is secretly injured or what but the sudden line movement has me a bit nervous.

I am taking the cardinals at +124 today. For no real reason other than I like the line.

Turned $100 into $250 in 45 minutes last night while playing craps. The guy rolling was out of his mind.

Not gambling, but yesterday I played a game of Catan that finished in 44 rolls without a 7 hitting once. Odds of that must be astronormous.

How do you know how many rolls it was? Were you playing an electronic version?

No, that place is a bit shady at night. I was at Perryville.

Uh-oh. I have a couple of apps on my phone and ipad I play occasionally - I figure if I get online, there is no way I could ever get any work done.

Dominion is even worse for me. If I get on that site, I'm basically dead for hours.
