Reasons for staying up in the UK to watch the SB

Hello all,

I anticipate the Patriots getting reamed tonight and I don't like watching blowouts and/or dislike the Pats enough to stay up and watch it happen.

Can any of you give me legit reasons/actual game related reasons to stay up into the early hours of Monday morning to watch the game.

I am struggling, especially with all the BS that goes with it (bad commentary, loads of pictures of brave US military folk, a horrible half-time show, vignettes regarding players helping their local communities, an interview with Bettis about the HoF and beating the Seahawks).

Well, the Seahawks very rarely blow anyone out, so I think that's pretty unlikely today. Yes, it happened last year, but I seriously doubt the Patriots will be as unprepared to deal with the Seahawks D as the Broncos were last year.

I'm staying up in Deutschland to watch the Super Bowl and I've picked the Seahawks over the Patriots. So, it's your call. Either sleep or don't. I have delayed reporting for tomorrow, so I get a bit of a break.

Last year was a total wank fest for me watching Manning get beat (he could have opted to play for the Titans) and then seeing Elway's disappointed face (again). This year cannot live up to that...

I think his point is that almost all of us are left-wing commie scum. Unless he meant we are all fluffy vignette/ military/ or halftime loving cunts. Most of us are Steelers fans, so maybe it is about the Bus?
