Sigh. I guess if I knew my movie years better. I thought of the correct answer and figured it was probably what they were going for, but pictured a much more appropriate scene in a different movie. I'll avoid spoilers here.

I got stuck on "It looks great on you!". I have no idea why. I did come up with it before they showed the first contestant that had it right but it was well after time expired.

Who knows? Maybe, you were kidnapped, tied up, taken away and held for ransom.

Since last night's was a repeat of the third semifinal in the College Tourney, I'm guessing the rest of the week is reruns too so we will start the April challenge Monday.

We got a new episode yesterday, and a new one is scheduled tonight, here in the NY market.

I'll start a new thread.

Etymology

From the Latin for "to walk before", a famous example of this 8-letter word was written in 1787.
Who knows? Maybe, you were kidnapped, tied up, taken away and held for ransom.

Alright, so March is done and I can now complain about that last Godfather answer. The famous "no respect" scene from those movies is the Fredo scene in The Godfather II, right? There's nothing that I can remember like that in The Godfather. I realize that the question also included the year, but I couldn't have told you the different years for those two films.

Finally caught up, I went 13-9, missing US States, Medal of Freedom, Liteary Characters, US Govt, Historical US Geography, Composers, Literary Anagrams, Transportation, and Women Authors.

Shirley, you mentioned the Godfather line about respect. It's in the opening scene, the "I believe in America" scene:

I know I'm wrong, but I still say Dangerfield's persona was Fredo, not Don Corleone.
