I was going back and forth on whether to do this as an elimination tournament or going by cumulative score, and ultimately decided to do both. So, there will be both a tournament champion and a cumulative champion--think of the FA Cup vs the Premier League championship--giving everyone more of an incentive to play each week.
Since we have more than 16 players, this first round will be a play-in between the last four of the initial 16 and the four additional joiners. Winners will advance to the next round for a full slate of head-to-head matchups, with seeding based on the order of sign-ups. All players should submit answers, both to help compute scores for the live matchups and to compete for the cumulative championship.
REMINDERS
There are two concurrent competitions: the elimination tournament and the cumulative score from all weeks.

Correct answers get a score equal to the number of people who said it.
Wrong answers get the value of the highest-scoring correct answer +5.
Lowest score wins.
Tie-breakers for head-to-head matchups will be based on the better (lower) score for question #10.
