Unlike Percy Sledge, it isn;t hard to find a second great song by Ben E. King.

This one gives me the chills.

Honestly, it would be almost impossible to pack any more emotion in less than two and a half minutes.

Ben E. was great. But if it's hard, then you aren't trying. Witness Take Time to Know Her. He gets bonus points for this being The Greatest Advice Ever.

Some may not know that King was the first to break Spanish Harlem, in the early 60s after he left the Drifters and went solo. Some don't like Phil Spector's productions, but I'm a big fan, right up to (but not including) the time he got to the Beatles. So I dig the marimba, which to a modern ear might sound a bit cheesy. Aretha was in many ways just working in Ben E.'s tracks when she cut this song. I liked her version. She has a unique, powerful voice, and cut this with a great band.
