He takes three steps with the ball in both hands. Do that in any basketball league other than the NBA and you'll get whistled.

Looks like two to me. At the beginning of the Vine, you see him grab the ball with two hands and then his feet hit the floor two more times after. Two steps. Two very long steps.

I also think the dribble cancels out that first step.

The fact he makes 10 million a year+ cancels out both steps.

Apparently the Rockets can score in bunches as well. Erased a 17pt Warriors lead in short order at the end of the second; tied at 55 at the half.

eta: 7:32 of game clock.

It's genius versus genius. Both Harden and Curry can make the clock run backwards, or at least slow, while making the scoreboard number go up.

When I watch them play, I see Robertson versus West. All great players have distinct styles, so this is not a stylistic match. It's a brilliance match.

Yeah. Fixed it but not in time. And on the last play it was totally clean. Good play by warriors. But a lot of contention in that last 7 minutes.

Weirdly not. I thought game 2 was a must-win, but now it wouldn't surprise me to see this go 7. I'm just happy they didn't let the season end after those two awful games in LA. This has been some fun basketball to watch.

I know he's been incredibly good this year, especially in the playoffs, but it still was jarring to see DeMarre Carroll's injury be such a big story.

I'm about twenty minutes behind on dvr and just saw the blatt interview after first quarter when nichols(who looks better than ever these days) asked what the difference between having dellevadova instead of Irving. Blatt paused, and I swear he wanted to go Terrence howard in that movie 43 thing.

LeBron is the best player hands down, but I love the fact that Curry won MVP. And tonight may be the first time I've ever thought "I've got wait to 9 to see an NBA game" without any hint of irony.

Fun fact - With LeBron, the Cavs have won 10 playoff series (and counting) in 8 seasons.

Without him, they won 4 in 37 years.

Oh my that is a whuppin the dubs are laying on the rockets; 62-37 at the half. Not phenomenal shooting (45%; 27% from the arc) but one turnover, great defense and boards.

Oh I had zero problem with curry winning the mvp. And it isn't like he's having a bad playoffs either.

That could be understatement of the year. To me, Curry's game last night showed why he's mvp. He had 3 points after the 1st quarter and ended with 44. he's actually got me watching games from start to finish again.

No question. But Jordan was why I stopped watching the NBA and James didn't get me back. Curry did. He plays a style of game I want to watch.

I was just sick of him. I was probably sick of the NBA with the way the game was headed (Knicks, Pistons) and took it out on Jordan. That said, I was also sick of watching him travel all over the place and get calls no other player got. Still can't stand him.

I love how nonchalant Harden was about hitting that shot from under his own basket but after the 1st half buzzer last night. I'm fascinated by his chillness.

I don't need to see any more replays of Curry's fall. If he had died or become crippled, I get the endless replays, but he got a mild concussion*, no need to play it in heavy rotation.

*yes, he was mildly concussed; that's my diagnosis and I'm sticking to it.

eta: btw, dellavadova is a dirty cheap-shoting prick. but he was that in college, from a program of like pricks, st mary's of cali.

time for a little mini rant about last nights game. Even though Houston won, i feel like Golden State cheated. It was obvious to anybody with eyes that Curry had a concussion, and the team doctors lied about it to let him play. The rules and procedures clearly state he shouldn't be allowed back on the court, and they played him anyway. He was so messed up that he airballed his first shot by 4 feet, and threw 3 straight bad passes. There should've been an independant medical evaluation, and he should have had to sit until he cleared the tests. You can't honestly tell me after that fall and how he was acting that there was no concussion. It was a bullshit attempt to try and put us away in game 4, and fortunately it didn't work. The league should fine Golden State, and Curry shouldn't play until he is fit to.
