Always love the behind-the-teebox view at 18. "Here's a giant rectangle - all the best."

Day has the worst luck at majors.

Bogey free round but not enough birdies.

Spieth really choked on 18, huh? What a choker.

That was like "dead relative" crying, not "won at golf for the second time" crying, no?

I hope Spieth said "You finally caught up to me in Majors" when he hugged Johnson after the round.

I heard the conclusion on the way to the course. And I played bogey golf in 2:10 for $18. Solid day.

I had never taped a golf tournament to watch later, after I finished work. That was certainly worth it.

I would've preferred that the retiring starter dropped the mike after announcing Johnson at the first playoff hole.

Wrt the crying, I guess these guys have to restrain their emotions so tightly in order to win in his setting in this sport, when they come out they can come out weird.

I listened to the start of the playoff round in the car, and it will surprise no one when I say that golf on the radio is not all that exciting.

It has to be more exciting than listening to NASCAR on the radio.

Tennis on the radio is the absolute worst, just grunting.

There is actually too much action in golf for it to work on radio. Shot after shot, putt after putt all over the course.
Baseball and even cricket have lulls which is good for storytelling on radio.

Oh, this is the first time I ever listened to GOTR so it was just three guys going at it.

Football on the radio works - but the pauses between plays give far too many chances for the announcers to shill the sponsors. "This third down brought to you by Tops friendly markets..."

The British feed of the Open was actually pretty good years ago before Sirius went to the US based announcing feed.

The ESPN app had the international feed. It's better.

I sort of enjoy listening to SVP call golf. He's above average in my book.

I don't mind him at all either. Honestly ESPN had a good coverage. I listened to the international feed on Thursday and Friday but stuck iwth the main app on Monday.
