Shit. I grew up with the 80's Rock-'n-Wrestling era--I hated Piper at the time because I was supposed to, but in retrospect he became one of my favorites. One of the best-developed personas, a guy who understood his role as an entertainer and played it to a T.

Rowdy Roddy was my pledge name in college. Never really knew why. I think it's just because my pledge dad found a kilt he wanted me to wear. (That was how we did fraternity pledge names. They picked them on Halloween and dressed us up).
