This is as premature as "Back to School" sales.

As a person who has tried to get the premiership FFL ready for week 1 every year....there is no such thing as too early.

No worries there Giff, we have another new franchise QB who we won't be able to protect from DLE's or LOLB with any kind of pass rushing skills.

I still think the Titans will be better off at QB than the Texans (and by a good distance).

It's telling me the password is wrong for the survivor league. I tried 1202 / frog.

If the Jets hold on in this game, ljam will win our Survival pool in week 2. Wow. In the other pool I am in, it's down to two players after this past weekend.

Fucking Brees.

ESPN had 48% of people pick the Saints.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

The big survival pool I'm in (a three strikes you're out thing that runs through the playoffs - realistically, no one wins with more than a single strike) now has 34 guys left with no strikes out of 585 entrants.

Sunday morning I was one of 315 guys with the Saints. Had a bad feeling, so I wisely changed my pick to the Ravens.

A blood bath.

In my double elim $10,000 pool, I picked the Steelers. I'm one of about 6 people still without a loss.

In my smaller single elim pool ($1,250), I picked Miami. EVERYBODY LOST. So I just cost myself a grand by not manning up and doubling down on PIT.

Similar - had two entries in a single elimination one - went with Steelers and Saints - only 4 left out of 45. Would have loved to have had two still standing. Ah well.
