I pretty much screamed the answer at the TV.

By the way, that is the least likeable champ I have ever seen on the show.

I had to look at a list of Shakespeare heroines and guess between the 8 letter ones. I guessed right, but see other characters are also moon names. I should probably try to read Shakespeare as an adult, because I never even tried to read it when it was assigned in school. Maybe I'll start with a play or a movie. Claire Danes is a respected Shakespearean actress, right? And with John Leguizamo rounding out the cast, how could it not be great?

That Claire Danes version should cure you of any desire to revisit Shakespeare. But I just don't like that play, never have. Only liked one version I ever saw, and that was called West Side Story.

I really hate the guy too. But he is a damn good player. I suppose this is the era of aggressive, jerky champs.

Answer
Thursday October 1, 2015
Category: SHAKESPEARE CHARACTERS
Clue: 8-LETTER NAME SHARED BY A TRAGIC HEROINE & URANUS' INNERMOST KNOWN MOON

Answer: What is Cordelia?
This was kinda a bullshit clue. Unless you happen to know which Uranus moon is innermost, you have to run through all the Shakespeare tragic heroines, counting letters (o-p-h-e-l-i-a, only 7; d-e-s-d-a-m-o-n-a, damn 9, out of time). At least one other moon, Cressida, is both a character from a tragedy (unlike Margaret and Rosalind) and eight letters, but isn't innermost.

I only got it because I first went to Lear and stopped, not wanting to overthink. I was on the verge of switching to Cressida, but the music stopped.
