Colleges pay between $0.30 and $0.55 per lead to the College Board based on some research I have done in the past. My son is 1st year in high school and getting hammered (mostly by email) by several non-selective VA schools.

Roanoke (acceptance rate 78%), Radford (79%) , VMI (60%) and a few others. They all must be using the same 3rd party as the messages and approaches are very similar. These emails started before his first report card.

jumping in - i just had one (my first) two weeks ago. it's the day before - 100%. All that fucking Gatorade, my god. and for the love of all that is holy - ensure that you always always always have one bathroom available to you at all times.

Actual procedure/day of was nothing. Prepped me, had an IV, i asked "hey when do you think i'll start feeling this..." and about 10 seconds later i was out until my wife picked me up, at which point i was babbling about feeling AMAZING. Add to that the best nap of my life that afternoon.

I'm 45 days out and just read the prep instructions. Gonna have to make a spreadsheet or something.

Also they won't discharge me if my ride is a Lyft? None of my friends have cars... might have to have my dad pick me up. Classic coming-of-age cliche.

This is what my dad always says about colonoscopies.

So just found out via a LinkedIn connection that the Daily Wire is starting an animation division to promote (of course) "family values"

Because of course, pre-school TV is a morass of libertinism and cosmopolitinism.

The guy was bragging about landing a writing gig on one of their shows.

My first response was "go fuck yourself" which I wisely changed to "Gross" before removing him as a connection. What a fucked up world.
