Embiid talks tons of shit on and off the floor, so he would probably be near the top of the list of players this should/would happen to.

I'm sure I've said it here, but I have a theory players mostly hate him for his Mini Dwight Howard stuff. No one wants to see an adult act cutesy.

Yeah, if he wasn't a guy I am 98% sure was once described in a profile as "an internet troll", this would never happen to him because he's such a terrific player.

Absolutely fucking disgusting overturn by the officials there.

Beverley knocked the ball out of bounds as Booker was dribbling and because there was a microsecond of Booker touching the ball via replay the referees just ratfucked the game with 9 seconds left.

Unreal.

EDIT

OH MY FUCKING GOD.

BALL DON'T LIE.

(There was also a Ball Don't Lie moment on the missed free throws by Paul George.)

Ok...I may be an idiot here...but isn't that Offensive Goaltending? The ball was definitely in the cylinder.

You can't score from an inbound so it's not a shot.

If you watch the video in the second clip I posted (Boogie pushing Booker) JVG immediately nails the rule because the Clippers whined as soon as the ball went it.

It's happened before:

Edit:

Had no idea that Jae Crowder has experience with inbound shots made:

The Trae Young Hawks experience has somehow managed to elude me. WTF I am watching? I saw a few games in college but I don't think he even toyed with them as much as this.

He's a lot of fun to watch. Like a young Steph, he does so many things that you aren't supposed to do on a court, but it works. And he did absolutely tear up college basketball for the first 2/3 of his freshman year. Led the country in scoring and assists, I think. He faded in the final part of the season though (or teams learned better how to deal with him). He's a better outside shooter now than he was then (but he was pretty good then too).

Biggest whiner, flopper in NBA history who has never played for the Utah Jazz. He'd have taken a forearm to the face on his next drive after he got someone a tech for their jersey being untucked. Fuck him and his hamstring.

I'm happy for Chris Paul to have made it to the Finals, but I also fully understand why many do not feel the same.

I feel very bad that Robert Sarver's team has made the Finals.

Kinda makes me wish Chris Paul was on the Bucks.

Robert Sarver is one of the least deserving owners of a title in the whole league. Just garbage all around.

If Monty Williams coached the '88 Pistons, I'd still root for them a little so this is a pretty easy call. I don't expect my nards to be within 1000 miles of Chris Paul so what do I care?

Funny you should put Chives first. By sheer coincidence I was making a Dijon and sour cream with chives sauce for some salmon I was cooking for dinner when you wrote that.

I also think that you could've put parsley, either standard or Italian breeds, on there. Fresh cut parsley really ups a dish. Or maybe I'm saying it that I've been clipping it off my plants for the last week and barely made a dent in the growths.

It was incredible to watch as it happened. To have his back completely turned as the alley oop was in the process and to block it clean made me go "Wait...what???"

It just needs a catchy nickname now.

I bet it's higher than that. most people don't even make it to the NBA finals where the Bucks home court is involved.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.

Both teams are going out of their way to disprove the old saw about how role players shoot better at home than on the road. Phoenix's supporting cast has been pretty good overall at both locales while Milwaukee's were good on the road and pretty poor at home (37.5% FG, 32.3% threes).

Chris Paul's wrist injury is not getting any better, which is a problem considering the games have mostly gone to the team whose top three players have performed better (Mikal Bridges' 27 points in game two is the lone exception). His home-road production has been a massive indicator for the Suns - 41 points in 68 minutes at home, 11 in 53 minutes on the road.

Blocking CP3 from getting to the youngster to make him stop yelling at ref so he doesn't get T'd up seems like questionable sportsmanship at best.
