Not shocked by Andrews dropping that ball at all after the way he performed for me in my fantasy league this year.

Damn I wanted overtime. The Ravens passed up 2 extra points and lost by 2.

Feel bad for Mark Andrews (gutted if this was the EPL thread), but you gotta think the Bills win anyways with over a minute left. Ravens needed to run off more time on that final drive.

sure, but if you've got an open receiver in the end zone in that situation you're throwing the ball

He was good after the first 4 or 5 weeks. It’s funny, my ESPN league listed him as the “steal of the draft” in the end of season recap. I got him in the third round. Although it’s a keeper where you keep guys based on where they were drafted the year before, so some first and second rounders going much later, maybe equivalent to a 4th or 5th round. But still, shocked to see that.

So I was curious. At 324, Saquon is 18th right now in terms of most rushing yards in a single postseason. The record is 610 by John Riggins in 1982 (they had a 16-team playoff tournament that year due to a strike wiping out half the season). Terrell Davis put up 581 in ‘97 (4 games) and 468 in ‘98 (3 games). TD’s 156.0 ypg in ‘98 is the highest of anyone in the top 25 who has played at least 3 games.

In terms of most rushing yards including the playoffs in a full season, TD has the two highest at 2478 in ‘98 and 2331 in ‘97. Saquon right now is at 2329.

I was at a family thing at a beach house all weekend, so I wasn't really online.

I was finally able to set up a Fan Duel account and, man... It sure made watching those games a lot more fun. I took a bath on parlays on Saturday but made up for that with some solid parlays on Sunday. There was one that was Allen with a running TD, Cook with 50 yds, Henry with 80 yds and Lamar 200 yards total.

What was fascinating (to me) was how incredibly close almost all the lines were to what happened. Sorcery.

Thanks. Just wanted to be sure. Same thing they’ve been using for him. Hasn’t changed because of the Bills game. Threw a stupid pick and fumbled because he doesn’t protect the ball. Won’t change until he gets a ring.

As a fan/defender of a guy who finally got over (Alex-Rod) and a guy who didn't (Henrik) after incessant "if they're actually good, why haven't they won a ring by themselves" nonsense, I'm adding Lamar to my list of guys I hope get a title so the dummies shut the fuck up.

Lamar himself said he played poorly at key times. He was overall really good, but mistakes at bad times, one of which has been a long standing issue (fumble). I haven't been as online since that game but I saw a couple of the stnadard "Where do the Ravens go with Lamar now" type articles.

The interception was more troubling (to me) than the fumble. I think you can eat a fumble here and there with the upside his scrambling and running provide. But he basically threw a punt to open space on that throw and when you look at the route the receiver was running... inexplicable throw.

Very few players get dissected like this. Nobody talks about Joe Burrow, they talk about the guy who pushed Mahomes out of bounds and got the flag.

They talk about Rashard Mendenhall, not Ben Roethlisberger continually putting the Steelers in holes in many of the big games they lost.

I didn't even know that Drew Brees threw a pick in that "no call" game, I had to look it up to see. Maybe it was like a Hail Mary or something but this game definitely had a garbage PI call too.

I don't know - just seems like it was certainly not a "choke".

I think my friend group sending my memes on Instagram is probably making me think this is louder than it is but it's like every time with these guys. Suddenly the Ohio State QB curse isn't even a thought, they want Will Howard.
